Our restaurant offers you traditional dishes from the Cilento area. The produce is home grown. Porta Sirena Farm Stay B & B is just 400 metres away from the archaeological area of Paestum.
Most of our first courses owe their success to the traditional Cilento method of making pasta. You will be able to discover the typical Cilento pasta shapes and enjoy the traditional flavours of our territory.
Dairy products like the famous Mozzarella di Bufala from the Sele River Valley, Ricotta Cheese also made from water buffalo milk, typical of our area), other local cheeses and specialties are produced by the Azienda Agricola Jemma to which the Porta Sirena B & B belongs.
Our vegetables and salads are organic produce ranging from the traditional Paestum Artichoke to a wide variety of agricultural products typical of the fertile Sele River Valley.
We only serve top quality meat accompanied by specific traceability tags in order to guarantee the quality and safety of the product.
OUR WINE CELLAR
Our wide selection of wines is carefully monitored by an experienced oenologist. You can find a wide variety of local Cilento wines as well as top labels from other regions.
An area adjacent to our B & B has been set aside for our animals. A day at the Agriturismo Porta Sirena will be a memorable day of discovery and close contact with nature, for your children too. Every day our hens provide us with fresh eggs used to prepare our food.
Walking around our estate, you will bump into friendly goats munching happily in our fields.
